Rosey Project

We offer support to girls aged 13-25 who have experienced sexual violence and provide prevention workshops for young people and their carers. We can offer tailor-made workshops to help raise awareness of the issues around sexual violence that affect young people. We began offering Prevention Workshops at the Rosey Project five years ago in direct response to the increasing number of young women accessing the support service at Glasgow Rape Crisis Centre. We decided that the best way to challenge this was to go out and talk to young people, boys and girls about the kind of things that are affecting them and forming their attitudes around sexual violence and to gauge what kind of understanding they have about sexual violence.
