We are currently recruiting for:
Youth Worker Post x 2
35 hrs per week
£20,000 per annum (Fixed Term Funding 3 years)
Since 1994 GYIP has provided support, information and advice to young people in the Greater Govan area, and has established itself as one of the most experienced non-profit organisations in the area.
Reporting to the Project Manager, working in partnership with the Youth Work Co-ordinator, the role of the Youth Worker will be to manage all aspects of the GYIP main office and support the development and delivery of a programme of high quality youth work provision within Greater Govan and across southwest Glasgow where appropriate.
This will involve good working relations with all relevant partners and contacts, including Glasgow City Council, Glasgow Community Partnership, Secondary Schools, and relevant third sector organisations within Greater Govan.
The role includes managing social media and web services, as well as generating content for the same.
There are two posts being recruited for, the interviews will select for both vacancies.
The posts are funded for 3 years only in the first instance with a yearly review.
