Castlemilk Youth Complex is Scotland’s foremost independent youth arts organisation. Uniquely, this Charity is managed by the young people using state of the art facilities including, a fully equipped 80 seater theatre, digital recording and broadcasting studios and visual arts media. With established and innovative youth theatre and music projects, including devised theatre events and the Complex engages excluded young people in learning and life changing opportunities. While the focus is on the successful regeneration of Castlemilk, in Glasgow, the Complex develops exciting projects with partners across the city and internationally.

We help Scotland’s families to put children first, with practical advice and with support in difficult times. And when the worst happens, we support survivors of abuse, neglect, and other traumatic events in childhood, to recover. Children 1st aim to provide excellent services which promote the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable children and young people. Helping vulnerable children and young people thrive safely within their families is at the heart of what we do.

Glasgow Association for Mental Health (GAMH) is an independent charity registered in Scotland. We promote the mental health and wellbeing of people and their communities; providing more than 2000 hours of community based support every week to people in Glasgow.

Services range from traditional youth drop-in facilities, Duke of Edinburgh Award, working with schools and support Dialogue Youth, to simply providing the first point of contact for young people wishing to engage with other Glasgow Life services.  Youth work takes place across the city in a variety of settings including community venues, schools, and on the streets with youth workers using a range of approaches and methods to engage with young people using innovative and imaginative ways.

Place2Be provides emotional and therapeutic services in primary and secondary schools, building children’s resilience through talking, creative work and play. Place2Be works with 282 primary and secondary schools, reaching a school population of 116,000 children, helping them to cope with wide-ranging and often complex social issues including bullying, bereavement, domestic violence, family breakdown, neglect and trauma.

Carers Trust is a major charity for, with and about carers. Carers Trust Network Partners support carers locally throughout the UK.

Step down is a young and progressive charity established to provide care and support services for children, young people and families. Young people can live with Stepdown and receive intensive support in small Stepdown Cottages or within the family homes of Stepdown Carers. To prevent breakdown, Stepdown will work with families wherever they live and will support young people to live in the family home or independently in their own flats.

SWAMP uses the arts to enhance literacy and cultural awareness and to promote social inclusion and community spirit within the locality and has been successfully sustaining this for the last 18 years. During this time we have taken a dilapidated building within our community and redeveloped it which included replacing the full roof render work and construction work within the premises creating a state of the art media facility  that includes a professional 48track digital recording studio, 2 rehearsal rooms, ITC suite, Creative Arts room and a large green screen filming studio which are used by both professional production companies and the wider community. We strongly believe in the model of inclusion through creation.

The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice supports 1200 patients and their families every year to achieve the best quality of life. Glasgow’s Hospice currently cares for people from a geographical area that spans Glasgow, East Renfrewshire, Cambuslang and Rutherglen with a population of about 345,000. Where it may not be possible to add days to lives, we aim to add life to days.

Storytelling has been at the heart of human expression for as long as we’ve been able to talk. Stories are inspirational, evolving with every telling, every teller and every audience. As a creative activity, storytelling can improve people’s health and wellbeing. At The Village Storytelling Centre, we use the power of storytelling to bring people together and to provide a space for creativity and relaxation.

Ypeople, formerly known as YMCA Glasgow, is a registered Scottish charity offering support to vulnerable groups and individuals within 17 services across Scotland. Ypeople delivers support services to vulnerable people including people whose lives have been affected by homelessness and youth services for young people in need of care.
